Electrify America reports a fivefold increase of charging sessions in 2021 compared to 2020

According to a recent report from Electrify America, it delivered 1.45 million charging sessions to customers in 2021 – that’s over five times more than the 268,000 sessions recorded a year prior. The sessions represent estimations of millions of gallons of gasoline spared on US roads, as well as evidence of the benefits a transition to electric vehicles can provide.

AMPLY Power is reusing shipping containers as semi-permanent chargers for commercial EVs

As thousands of shipping containers sit offshore in the US, a provider of chargers is bringing them a second life by supporting commercial EVs. Electrify America to implement 34 DC fast chargers in SoCal for heavy-duty trucks

EV charging network Electrify America has announced a project with NFI Industries to support the latter’s fleet of 60 electric heavy-duty trucks with a charging infrastructure of 34 DC fast chargers. The project is scheduled to be completed in December of 2023 and is being described by the companies as the single largest charging infrastructure project in the US to support heavy-duty EVs.
