As thousands of shipping containers sit offshore in the US, a provider of chargers is bringing them a second life by supporting commercial EVs. AMPLY Power has introduced INRUSH, a containerized EV charging infrastructure system that can be set up in about half the time as traditional methods. With the Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) on board as the first customer, AMPLY’s chargers will soon be supporting buses around Disneyland.

AMPLY Power to electrify fleets with solar overhead charging

EV charging management provider AMPLY Power will announce a collaboration with Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions focused on charging fleets of electric buses by means of solar-powered overhead charging stations. Rivian, Volvo, and 56 others urge Michigan governor to support electric trucks and buses

The Electrification Coalition delivered a letter to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer Wednesday, backed by 58 businesses, including Rivian, Volvo, EVgo, and Arrival, to name a few. The letter urges the governor to join the Multi-State Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicle Memorandum of Understanding, which would expedite the electrification of trucks and buses throughout the state.

AMPLY Power and UES partner to electrify V2G capable buses

CaaS provider AMPLY Power announced today that it is partnering with Unique Electric Solutions (UES) to equip school buses and trucks with electrification, charging services, and vehicle-to-grid capabilities. AMPLY Power will oversee the collaboration that also includes Rhombus Energy Solutions with vehicles provided by Logan Bus Company.
