Ahead of its world premiere at the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, Hyundai Motor is teasing the public with one last video of its upcoming performance-focused IONIQ 5 N EV. The racetrack capable model recently entered its final phase of capability testing at the renowned Nürburgring motorsports complex in Germany.

McMurtry teases a production version of its record-setting Spéirling fan car, yours for a cool $1 million

One year after trouncing the hillclimb record at the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed, McMurtry Automotive is set to showcase a limited-run, production version of its all-electric Spéirling fan car called the PURE. A validation prototype of this soon-to-be commercially available sealed-skirt fan car will be on display at this year’s hillclimb ahead of pre-production… Oh, and it costs over a million dollars.

Stock version of the Lucid Air Grand Touring wins fastest production car at Goodwood 2022

During this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lucid Motors not only publicly debuted its Air Grand Touring Performance for the first time, but raced up the famed hill … quickly. Manned by professional driver Ben Collins, the Lucid Air Grand Touring recorded a time in the Goodwood Hillclimb Timed Shootout fast enough to claim the crown as fastest production car.

Watch an electric ‘fan car’ beat every car ever at Goodwood Hill Climb

A fully electric car has beaten every car ever at the Goodwood Hillclimb track at the Festival of Speed, an annual gathering and demonstration of racing vehicles in England. The McMurtry Speirling fan car driven by Indycar and ex-F1 driver Max Chilton set a record of 39.08 seconds on the 1.86km (1.16 mile) course, almost a second better than the previous record.
