As Fisker Inc. continues to work toward start of production of its flagship Ocean EV, it has begun taking reservations for its second model, the PEAR – a compact, five-passenger “urban EV.” With the opening of reservations, Fisker is also claiming the PEAR will start at an MSRP below $30,000 in the US, and that’s before any incentives – a price point few automakers have been able to deliver.

American EV automaker Fisker Inc. announced its flagship Ocean SUV will make its official debut in Europe at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The annual trade show will take place from February 28 to March 3, and will give visitors a first chance to see the Fisker Ocean up close in Europe, ahead of production this fall.

Los Angeles-based Automaker Fisker Inc. turned a new page in its history today with the official debut of its flagship EV, the Ocean SUV. Following a presentation by founder and CEO Henrik Fisker, we now know the specs, price tiers, and added features consumers can expect to see on the Ocean when deliveries begin next November.

Fisker Inc. has announced a formal agreement with CATL to supply batteries to the upcoming Ocean electric SUV, as it approaches production next year. CATL will provide small and large battery packs of different chemistries to Fisker over the next few years, delivering an initial annual capacity of over five-gigawatt hours (GWh).

Fisker Inc. has recently shared plans to debut its upcoming Ocean SUV during the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, taking place this November. Furthermore, the born-again EV automaker has also shared a timeline for global “Brand Experience Centers,” set to roll out in the US and Europe in 2022.

In a recent announcement, Fisker and Magna International Inc. have finalized a long-term manufacturing agreement. The binding agreement coincides with previous agreements between both parties regarding EV platform sharing and ADAS systems. As part of the latest agreement, Magna will produce Fisker’s upcoming electric Ocean SUV in November 2022.

Henrik Fisker is trying to launch a new EV startup called “Fisker.” It revealed several electric vehicle concepts, including one for an “affordable electric SUV,” which the company now says is going to start at $379 a month.
