EU passes law requiring EV fast chargers along all main transport corridors by 2025

The Council of the European Union (EU) has adopted a new law surrounding EV charging infrastructure it’s calling a “milestone” in reducing carbon emissions throughout the European transport sector. Beginning in 2025, fast charging stations will need to be present every 60 km along the “trans-European transport (TEN-T) network.”

Top charging services provider ABM announces its own brand of EV fast chargers and software

ABM, the largest installer of EV chargers in the US has decided to take some of its charger technology in-house. Together with the help of software developer Noodoe, the services provider has introduced a lineup of ABM branded EV chargers for the first time that support a range of outputs and charge speeds.

This East Coast company is expanding the potential of clean EV charging using hydropower

An East Coast installer and distributor of EV charging equipment called PlugIn Stations Online (PISO) has successfully installed what it calls “one of the world’s first” hydro-powered EV chargers operating off 100% clean energy. The systems show plenty of possibility for a clean future of hydropower EV charging in the US and beyond.
