A new recreational mobility startup, Polydrops, has recently unveiled its latest model—a solar-electric travel trailer called the P21. This sustainable second home on wheels was designed with comfort and efficiency in mind and features solar technology from Aptera as well as a bunch of other cool features—all for a starting price below $40,000.

Less than a year after unveiling its innovative electric RV called the Flow, Pebble has announced a new company milestone for its business and production going forward. The company has officially opened a new headquarters and production facility in California as it looks to finally bring the Flow to market.

The iconic electric RV maker launched its newest model on Tuesday to celebrate its 95th Anniversary. The Endless Highways 95th Anniversary Edition Bowlus RV is designed to take your next EV getaway to the next level with unrivaled luxury and features.

Imagine how peaceful camping would be without the loud gas-powered engines running. Electric vehicles are upgrading the camping experience as we know it. Not only are EVs silent, but they also offer unique advantages over gas-powered cars for camping.

Oh, and did I mention it can park itself? Bowlus revealed its most rugged travel trailer yet, the off-grid Rivet. The Bowlus Rivet features a “yacht-quality” battery and solar power system that allows “indefinite time off-grid in all conditions.”

Is it a caravan camper trailer? Is it a boat? Does it have an electric motor? A Turkish company called Sealvans is blending the lines of recreational mobility, designing and selling trailer boat combos that deliver a hybrid mix of travel by land and sea. Check them out.

Commercial EV manufacturer Xos, Inc. has partnered with renowned lifestyle vehicle expert Winnebago to electrify the commercial segment further. Together, the companies have developed a fully electric chassis to support Winnebago’s specialty vehicle division, which currently offers custom builds of Class C RVs and Class A EV buses for several use cases.

Coast, the future-focused sub-brand of trailer manufacturer Aero Build, has begun deliveries of the Model 1 – a solar electric travel trailer that Founder and CEO Brian Fuente put his heart and soul into to not only modernize a stale recreation segment but do so in a manner that is optimized and affordable without any compromise on quality. Fuente walked us through the Coast Model 1 and shared his insight on the trailer, the company’s design approach, and its future in electric campers.

Would you spend a week off-grid in this luxury electric RV? Iconic Italian car design firm Pininfarina is teaming up with AC Future to rethink the future of travel and living. The Electric Transformer House (eTH) is a modern take on the traditional RV. It’s an expandable luxury mini-home with 400 sq ft of living space, solar panels, and much more.

Electric RV specialist Pebble has officially unveiled its flagship product – an all-electric travel trailer called the Pebble Flow. Since it was first unveiled this past January, Winnebago’s all-electric eRV2 prototype has been on my radar as an EV I’d love to experience firsthand, especially since many of my loaners are focused solely on driving, and this electric RV offers so much more. Winnebago Industries is in the process of acquiring lithium-ion solutions provider Lithionics Battery to implement the sustainable energy solutions provider’s technology and engineering capabilities to aid in its growing focus on electric RVs.

Rollaway, a Silicon Valley-based sustainable hospitality startup, is partnering with GM’s BrightDrop to build a luxury electric van that it calls “the hotel room of tomorrow.” The electric van will feature five-star services and amenities with an impressive 250 miles range.

During this year’s Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, legacy RV and motorhome manufacturer Winnebago unveiled its all-electric, operational RV prototype called the eRV2. This zero-emission RV evolved from Winnebago’s eRV prototype and is being used for test drives to gather feedback from consumers before it reaches its final production-intent design.
