Today, ChargePoint shared details of a new cut-resistant EV charging cable and a new alarm system to increase security and deter theft near the pile. You can see more in the video below.

Rivian powers Michigan’s first federally funded NEVI EV fast charger

Michigan’s first EV fast charger, funded by the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program in partnership with the Rivian Adventure Network, is now live in Lansing.

Located in the Meijer parking lot at 6200 South Pennsylvania Avenue, the station features six DC fast chargers, including one that’s trailer-friendly.

EV infrastructure developer i-charging has introduced a new Megawatt Charging System designed for heavy-duty vehicles to make the replenishing process faster and more efficient. Its latest “i-light” system offers up to 1.5 MW of power and 98-99% efficiency, and it can recharge several vehicles simultaneously.
