Ford F-150 Lightning finally joins European market, beginning sales in EV-centric Norway

Citing a massive consumer demand overseas, Ford is expanding its ultra-popular F-150 Lightning to markets outside the US for the first time, beginning in Norway. Ford says it will kick off its entry to Europe with a limited number of F-150 Lightning Lariat Launch Editions, equipped to handle Norway’s snowy terrain, as you’ll see in the images and video below.

Ford chasing more world records and bigger wheelies with electric Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800

Ford Performance is looking to earn the latter half of its namesake by continuing the evolution of its all-electric Mustang designed specifically for motor sports. The automaker unveiled the new electric Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800 prototype this morning, which looks to pick up where its Cobra Jet 1400 predecessor left off a few years ago, targeting several new quarter-mile NHRA world records.

Ford reopens F-150 Lightning orders as production (and prices) ramp up

Today we’ve learned that Ford Motor Company has reopened its order books to the next wave of F-150 Lightning reservation holders. The news comes as the American automaker returns to full production of the all-electric truck this week at its Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Michigan. Ford CEO says battery supply is EV production constraint while 140kWh F-150s roll off the line

Ford CEO Jim Farley emphasized the necessity of building out a supply chain in the US for critical battery minerals, calling it the constraint to accelerating EV production. Meanwhile, the American automaker continues manufacturing massive batteries, upwards of 140 kWh, for its full-size electric truck, the F-150 Lightning. Ford E-Transit year one: 745,000 gallons of gas saved across 12M miles, 57% reduced CO2 output

Ford is celebrating one year of its all-electric E-Transit vehicles hitting roads with a slew of encouraging stats surrounding the EV. Since February of 2022, Ford E-Transit drivers have already completed more than 12 million miles navigating through the US and Canada, alleviating a huge amount of gasoline required for combustion vans of the same size.
