According to a recent update from Volkswagen Passenger Cars CEO Thomas Schaefer, the Group intends to build at least four of its incoming EVs across its sub-brand’s current and upcoming facilities in Spain, including the VW ID.2, whose concept version, the ID.2all, was unveiled last week.

Czech auto manufacturer Škoda has expanded its all-electric vehicle offerings by introducing a new Enyaq Coupé iV for Europe. The new EV was unveiled alongside a sportier Rally Sport version and can come in two different battery sizes as well as rear- or all-wheel drive.

Skoda, the Czech subsidiary owned by Volkswagen, announced today that its first new purpose-built EV will be called the Enyaq. It will use the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, which also underpins the ID Crozz electric SUV that goes on sale in the US later this year.
Škoda, a Czech automaker owned by Volkswagen, has unveiled today the Citigo iV, an all-electric city car that is expected to cost less than $20,000.

ŠKODA unveiled its all-electric VISION iV concept at the Geneva Motor Show, a crossover coupe based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform that “offers a look ahead at ŠKODA’s electric future.”
