Goodyear has introduced its latest energy efficient tire to its growing portfolio of EV-centric products. The new RangeMax RSD arrives as Goodyear’s most compatible EV tire to date, designed to support regional electric fleets that are prone to higher cargo capacities.

Goodyear has demonstrated a tire consisting almost entirely of what it claims are “sustainable materials,” with a mission to further increase that percentage to 100% by the end of the decade.

Less than a year after announcing its own lineup of EV-specific tires, Hankook has begun selling its iON evo all season tires in the US to support both sedans and SUVs. These new tires come in a variety of different sizes and should help reduce noise while simultaneously help maximize range.

Hankook is the latest tire company debuting its own line of EV-specific tires – more specifically, tires for premium EVs. Hankook Tire’s new iON family will debut later this year and will include both winter and summer options for Europe, as well as an all-season EV tire for North America.

Goodyear’s ElectricDrive GT is an ultra-high performance, all-season tire tuned to last long and provide the quiet ride synonymous with EV driving.
