There’s a new “world’s fastest EV” in town, and it’s a familiar name if you follow Electrek. Japanese car manufacturing and engineering firm Aspark has developed an upgraded version of its ultrafast (and ultra-expensive) OWL hypercar with the help of Italy’s Manifattura Automobili Torino and took the EV to the track where it clocked in at a top speed of nearly 439 km/h.

All-electric supercar specialist Automobili Pininfarina is at it again with a new one-of-a-kind iteration of its Battista hyper GT. The boutique Italian automaker has unveiled the Battista Reversario – a new bespoke commission that builds off the ultra-rare Battista Anniversario – one of the most expensive EVs on the planet. Legacy Spanish automaker Hispano Suiza is gearing up to wow the public again with its latest all-electric hypercar. Donned the Carmen Sagrera, this new bespoke vehicle will arrive later this year as a nod to the Hispano Suiza’s extensive history and is promising some sportier improvements while retaining the brand’s “hyperlux” design philosophy. Even as it continues its deliveries of its limited edition Battista hyper GT, Automobili Pininfarina is now expanding the variety (and exclusivity) of its all-electric hypercar model while continuing to honor its rich Italian history. During the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the hyper EV developer will unveil a new, ultraexclusive version of the Battista called the Edizione Nino Farina – named after a family member crowned the first-ever Formula 1 champion.

Spanish automotive brand Hispano Suiza has officially made its debut in the United States, delivering its first Carmen Boulogne all-electric hypercar to a customer during the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in Florida. This bespoke hypercar was designed to the client’s specifications and will be one of five Carmen Boulognes produced in the world.

European boutique hypercar manufacturer Automobili Pininfarina has announced a further expansion of its retail presence in North America, adding two new locations. US and worldwide deliveries of the automaker’s all-electric Battista hyper GT are set for this year, as its production in Italy begins soon.

Boutique hypercar manufacturer Automobili Pininfarina is set to debut the first production-spec version of its Battista electric hypercar next week, and has teased the public with some early images. This limited-series hyper GT will debut in California through a series of curated experiences for Pininfarina’s clients, alongside the even more limited Battista Anniversario electric hypercar.
