Audi e-tron achieves 155 kW fast-charge rate with impressive full cycle

Despite being a little late to market due to “software issues”, Audi’s e-tron electric SUV is likely going to be the passenger electric vehicle with the fastest charge rate on the market – at least for the first half of 2019.

It has now been spotted charging at 155 kW and it maintained a high charge rate for an impressive part of the session.

Audi’s gorgeous e-tron GT concept makes huge splash at the LA Auto Show

I’d be hard pressed to find a more exciting car here at the LA Auto Show than Audi’s announcement of its sport-back e-tron GT. Although the teasers and camo version drip released over the previous 2 days made it out to be a S7 sportback body plopped onto a 2019 Porsche Taycan powertrain, we were pumped to see more.

Seeing the real thing in person at an Audi event this week, which we were brought to on Audi’s generous dime, was an experience unto itself.

First look at the Audi e-tron pricing, options, and online configurator

One of the most disappointing thing about the launch of the e-tron yesterday was that Audi is not making it immediately available despite announcing the start of production earlier this month.

Instead, Audi is following Tesla with the reservation model that requires a $1,000 refundable deposit.

With a reservation, you at least get to see all the options and pricing information in the online configurator.
