Greyp’s electric mountain bikes are on the cutting edge of connected e-bikes, and now the Croatian company has just opened operations in the United States.
The new Greyp G6 electric mountain bike was unveiled minutes ago in Zagreb, Croatia.
Electrek was front and center at the event to report on the impressive array of tech included in the Greyp G6 — much of it never before seen in an electric bike.
Rimac is better known for building the Concept_One, a $1-million all-electric supercar, but the company also builds high-end electric bikes called ‘Greyp’. This week, they unveiled the latest version of the Greyp and it has even crazier specs than the previous versions.
If you know of Rimac Automobili, it’s probably for being the maker of the Concept One electric supercar, but the Croatian car company is also the maker of the little known Greyp G12, a high performance electric bike. Performance comes at a price, the G12 starts at 6,500 EUR ($7,200 US), but the bike is equipped with a 1.3 kWh and a battery management system (BMS) based on the knowledge acquired during the conception of Rimac’s $1 million electric supercar.
