Rimac unveils a new electric bike with a crazy range of ~150 miles: Greyp G12H

Rimac is better known for building the Concept_One, a $1-million all-electric supercar, but the company also builds high-end electric bikes called ‘Greyp’. This week, they unveiled the latest version of the Greyp and it has even crazier specs than the previous versions.

Last year, Rimac unveiled its second generation ebike: the Greyp G12s. It featured a 1.5 kWh battery pack for a range of 75 miles (120 km), which is already ridiculous for an electric bike, but that’s nothing compared to the latest version: Greyp G12H.

The new G12H has a 3kWh battery pack for a range of ~150 miles (240 km), according to Greyp Bike COO Kresimir Hlede.

He wrote in a press release:

“The time has come to share our hard work around upcoming G12H – range and capacity of the battery will depend on the configuration of the bike, but the range will be able to go up 240 km and capacity up to 3kWh. I am proud to see our product has grand capabilities and, by the end of this year, is going to be ready to obliterate any competition.”

The new version is slower than the G12S, but “slower” doesn’t mean “slow”. The G12H has a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph). It’s not like the G12S’s Power-mode that can reach a top speed of 44 mph (70 km/h), but it’s still significant for, again, a bike. The G12S is still available if you dare reaching those kinds of speed on a bike.

Rimac also slightly updated the look for the new G12H:

The company didn’t disclose the price of the new version, but the G12S has a starting price of €8,380 ($9,525 US) so it’s definetely not cheap, but it’s basically an electric motorcycle…

Rimac will be showing the new bike at Intermot Cologne over the weekend and they say it will be available “soon”. Greyp’s order page still only shows the G12S.
