The first all-electric Jeep could be delivered to US customers as soon as July. According to new CEO Antonio Filosa, production of Jeep’s first EV, the Wagoneer S SUV, is expected to begin in Q2. Deliveries could happen as soon as the third quarter. Jeep’s CEO also confirmed we may see the electric Wrangler-like Recon launch by the end of the year.

Rivian’s (RIVN) gross margins fall in Q4 2023, EV maker cuts staff, but there’s more to it

Rivian (RIVN) released its Q4 2023 earnings Wednesday, showing gross margin improvements over last year, but the numbers are down sequentially. Rivian also announced it will reduce its workforce by 10%. With cost-cutting measures in place and new affordable products, Rivian expects to achieve modest gross profit by the end of the year.

Rivian CEO calls $48K the sweet spot for EV prices, says R2 will rival Tesla’s Model Y

Rivian looks to expand the brand with its more affordable R2 electric SUV. Ahead of the R2’s official debut, Rivian’s CEO RJ Scaringe called $48,000 an “important sweet spot” for buyers switching from gas vehicles. Scaringe also said the upcoming R2 will compete in the same market as Tesla’s best-selling Model Y.
