Nikola Tre BEV approved for NY incentive voucher offering savings up to $185k per truck

As a zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV), Nikola Corporation’s Tre BEV truck has qualified for yet another state incentive program for fleet customers. The American automaker announced that the battery electric Nikola Tre is eligible for the New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP). Under the statewide program, the Nikola Tre BEV can now qualify for an incentive up to $185,000… per truck.

Nikola asks shareholder approval to add 200M common shares to scale Tre production and finish building Arizona plant

ZEV manufacturer, Nikola Corporation, shared plans to ask its shareholders for approval to dilute their current holdings in order to add 200 million new shares, which would raise about $1.5 billion based off its closing price on Friday. The startup plans to use the funds to scale production of its Tre BEV trucks and finish building its US manufacturing facility in Coolidge, Arizona.

Nikola Tre gets board approval as a ZEV, qualifying for a $120,000 incentive for California customers

American Zero-emission vehicle manufacturer Nikola Motors recently shared news that its Tre BEV semi truck has received eligibility from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to be classified as a Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) in the state, thus qualifying for an incentive of $120,000 per truck.

Nikola signs intent alongside IVECO to provide electric trucks to Hamburg Port Authority

Nikola Motor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) alongside commercial vehicle brand IVECO. The news came during the inauguration of Nikola’s joint venture manufacturing facility in Germany with IVECO. With the MoU, both parties shared intentions to collaborate on the testing and implementation of up to 25 Nikola Tre BEVs in 2022.
