EV fast-charging startup Gravity is taking its talents to the West Coast. This morning, the company announced a massive US expansion that will bring 500 kW piles capable of 5-minute EV fast charging to eight locations around the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

NY-based startup and EV infrastructure specialist Gravity has launched a new line of universal EV charger “trees” it hopes will bring convenient charging sessions curbside on city streets. The deployment will start modestly, but Gravity is targeting a street charging network that is ” more expansive than Tesla’s current Supercharger network.”

This holiday season, New Yorkers will be able to visit friends and loved ones around the city in a new fleet of bright yellow Mach-E taxis, provided by EV fleet startup Gravity, Inc. The Mustang Mach-E’s were customized with monitors and panoramic roofs for NYC passengers along with AI for driver safety. The fleet represents a new electrified generation of the Big Apple’s iconic yellow taxis.
