Here are the electric cars being unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show

Next week’s Geneva Motor Show looks to have its fair share of electric car debuts. Here, we’ve put together a list of what to expect.

The Geneva Motor Show is one of the largest motor shows in Europe and it’s becoming an increasingly important trade show to launch new electric vehicles.

This year is no exception as it will be the stage of at least a dozen new EV debuts.

Below, we tried to gather those that we already knew about:

Aston Martin

Aston Martin’s Lagonda is expected to introduce an electric SUV, the All-Terrain Concept. It will be the first model the newly revived Lagonda brand will put into production.

Audi

Audi will unveil its Q4 e-tron concept at the show. It’s an electric SUV which is expected to go into production in “late 2020/early 2021.” The show will also feature the European debut of the e-tron GT concept. Four hybrid versions of the A6, A7, A8 and Q5 will also be introduced.

Citroën

The Ami One Concept is an urban mobility vehicle from Citroën. Almost cube-like in shape, the concept vehicle will have a top speed of 28 mph. It’s designed to be driven by anyone 16 and older — no license necessary.

GFG Style

The Italian design studio GFG Style will unveil its Kangaroo, a two-seater concept SUV.

Hispano Suiza

There will apparently be an electric supercar named Carmen at the show. (But some reports say there’s also going to be a second “Hispano Suiza” brand at the show unveiling a completely different ICE car? It’s strange and confusing.)

Honda

Honda’s E prototype is coming to the show. The vehicle, which evolved from the Urban EV, is said to be very close to a production version. Honda is also expected to bring its student-designed Tomo mini pickup concept EV to the show.

Kia

Kia is unveiling a new electric concept car at the show. Only a teaser image has been seen thus far. The automaker will also show off the e-Soul — though this is more of a name unveiling than a car unveiling, as the 2020 Soul EV debuted at 2018’s LA Auto Show.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes is expected to debut its EQV concept at the show. It’s said to be a new fully electric MPV.

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi will unveil its Engelberg Tourer SUV at the show. Not much is known about the concept vehicle, though a teaser image (see below) was released. Some reports claim the SUV will be all-electric, while the Geneva Motor Show site lists the vehicle as a hybrid.

Nissan

Nissan will reveal its IMQ concept crossover at the show. A very short teaser video groups the concept in with its Nissan Intelligent Mobility branding, like the IMs concept, which was unveiled in January.

Peugeot

The new all-electric version of Peugeot’s 208 hatch will debut at the show. The e-208 version is equipped with a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and a 50 kWh battery pack.

Piëch

Piëch’s first concept, the Mark Zero sports car will be a two-door coupe with a battery that’s said to get 310 miles per charge, based on WLTP range estimates. The company recently claimed the Mark Zero can get a “sensationally short charging time of only 4:40 minutes to 80% battery capacity” — we’ll have to see the details.

Pininfarina

The Italian design firm is unveiling Battista, an electric hypercar.

SEAT

SEAT will publicly unveil its el-Born all-electric hatchback concept at Geneva. It’s based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, and SEAT plans on bringing it to production. (The Spanish automaker will also be showing its recently unveiled Minimó.)

Skoda

Skoda is expected to debut its VISION iV crossover at the show — design sketches were revealed last month.

Volkswagen

VW’s much-anticipated ‘ID. BUGGY’ electric dune buggy concept will debut at the show. The company shared a teaser image in January, but further information has been scarce.

Note: this list may be incomplete, and is subject to change. We’ll update with any new information before the show.
