Jeremy Clarkson famously gave the Tesla Roadster some undeserved bad publicity a few years ago. Tesla then sued Top Gear/BBC for libel and eventually dropped the suit. There is no love lost between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson however as evidenced by his comments earlier this week (above).
With that in mind, commercials are showing that Top Gear USA will be reviewing the Tesla Model S this week. Will it get a fair shake?

Very interesting that TopGear will give the Model S a chance. I will check out that episode! I am a big petrol head but I must admit that recently a friend of mine changed my perception of electric cars when introducing me to an article he read. My wife thinks Ive lost it but I seriously consider owning a Tesla. Maybe TopGear can give me good consumer advice 🙂 Thanks for sharing your news!
TOP GEAR… excellent venue for Musk & his car…oh wait, did it say the TOP GEAR in USA…skip it! I can give you a hundred cliches`or analogy’s why.To keep this short:Go with the original TOP GEAR! It’s on the “B.B.C. America” channel, Those 3 British “Presenters”(UK term for t.v. Host) have great chemistry. I don’t know anyone that watch’s “TOP GEAR USA”…hell do both show’s!
