Venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya announced via Twitter that he took delivery of his ‘Founders series’ Model X #13, which he described as the “sickest car on the planet”. He joins a select group of Model X ‘Founder’ owners including, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang, Tesla board member Steve Jurvetson and Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself.

Palihapitiya was an early employee at Facebook. He now manages his VC fund Social Capital which invested in successful companies such as, Glooko, Yammer and SecondMarket. He is also part owner of the Golden State Warriors.
