Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II gets NACS, 16% more range at 308 miles

Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Spectre Series II, bringing a 16% range increase to 308 EPA-estimated miles, a switch to the NACS charging standard in the US, and a 670 hp Black Badge variant that becomes the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built.

The update addresses two of the biggest criticisms of the $398,000 electric super coupe: limited range and reliance on CCS charging infrastructure. But it comes as Spectre sales dropped 47% in 2025, falling to just 1,002 units globally.

Otherwise, the electric vehicle has been quite a success for the brand.

Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric vehicle, Spectre, is one of the most highly anticipated EVs of the year, not to mention THE MOST anticipated Rolls Royce in the luxury brand’s 118-year history.

Before its release later this year, the Rolls-Royce Spectre has covered over 2.5 million kilometers (about 1.2 million miles) as it finishes up testing.

British luxury automaker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has shared the latest update regarding its upcoming all-electric Spectre, as it has endured winter testing in Sweden in temperatures as low as -40℃ (-40℉). With the completion of winter testing, Rolls-Royce has shared that the Spectre has now covered 25% of the 2.5 million planned test kilometers (~1.55 million miles), simulating 400 years of use on the new EV.
