Tough times for Audi, VW, and Porsche could make October a great time to buy

Volkswagen Group is going through some tough times these days. Labor disputes, increased competition in China, and a few market misses on big swings are all playing a part, but that doesn’t mean the EVs themselves aren’t great – and with all the big rebates and incentive offers on Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen EVs this month, they’re definitely worth a look.

A number of early software recalls mean there are still a few brand-new 2025 model year VW Group EVs collecting dust interest on dealer lots, and Volkswagen is hurling money at customers to help dealers get them off their lots.

We’ve looked into some of the best and biggest incentives VW Group customers can expect to find through November 3rd, below. Check those out, then let us know if you’ve come across any better deals in the comments.

With almost 1,000 hp on tap and a blistering 60 mph coming in just 2.4 seconds, Audi’s electric flagship super sedan made headlines and set performance records when it was launched back in 2024. Unfortunately for Audi, it didn’t set many matching sales records.

To help Audi dealers make GT deals more appealing, the company is offering $20,000 in customer cash on remaining 2026 models plus $1,100 in charging rebates (which you’ll see on nearly all VW Group EVs). All other Audi e-tron electrics make do with “just” the charging rebate, but their lower base price makes them eligible for most of the state- and local-level rebates out there. Check with your local Audi dealer for more.

Porsche Macan Electric

To be clear: Porsche doesn’t do rebates. Heck, Porsche barely does discounts, let alone rebates. To suggest otherwise is borderline heresy in many automotive circles.

That said, Edmunds is reporting that Macan buyers are paying an average of $3,600 below MSRP, not including the ubiquitous Porsche group charging rebate. This month, Porsche Macan buyers might be able to do even better, thanks to a “Welcome to Porsche” incentive being offered that’s good for up to $4,500 in savings, based on the company making your first three Porsche payments for you.

Chasing buyers who don’t want to make payments is probably a good strategy, right? I mean, who likes making payments on things? To see if your local Porsche dealer will pickup your next three P-car payments, click the link below.

VW ID.4

Volkswagen is offering $12,500 in customer cash plus an additional $1,100 in charging rebates on leftover 2025 VW ID.4 EVs. If you’re in a state like Illinois, which offers $2,000-4,000 in additional rebates and/or qualify for the additional $500 in military and first-responder rebate, that could add up to more than $18,000 in savings on a brand-new, capable, five-passenger EV with up to 291 miles of EPA-estimate range (263 with all-wheel drive).

If you want to stick to the 2026 models, you’ll still get $10,000 off plus the charging rebate for a crazy, JC Penney-level discount on a solid mid-sized crossover even before you start negotiating with the dealer for additional discounts, VW swag, or loaner rights. Disclaimer: the vehicle models and financing deals above were sourced from sites like CarsDirect, Edmunds, or the OEM websites – and were current as of 04OCT2026. These deals may not be available in every market, with every discount, or for every buyer (the standard “with approved credit” fine print should be considered implied).

Check with your local dealer(s) for more information.
