Polestar 4 deliveries are finally underway in the US and Canada

Six months after officially opening up sales to North American customers, Polestar has officially begun deliveries of the long-anticipated Polestar 4 crossover SUV.

The Polestar 4 is the fourth electrified model and third BEV from the Geely-owned, Swedish-designed automaker. The crossover SUV was unveiled in 2023 before it kicked off production in China later that year to local customers.

Polestar 4 deliveries continued expanding to Europe and Australia in 2024, while North American customers continued to wait. In April 2024, Polestar said it was officially opening orders for the 4 in the US, starting at $54,900, built in China.

Deliveries were initially expected to follow in late 2024, but Polestar faced several hurdles, including the appointment of a new CEO and the looming threat of tariffs from the Trump Administration. As such, Polestar regrouped and opened sales of the 4 this past June as a 2026 model.

Additionally, we learned those US deliveries would consist of Polestar 4 SUVs initially assembled in South Korea, at a starting MSRP of $56,400. Today, Polestar shared that 4 deliveries to customers in the US and Canada are officially underway, and you can continue to configure your one of your own at a discouted price.

Polestar 4 deliveries now underway

According to a release from Polestar, the 4 has now joined the Polestar 3 in available models to US customers now that deliveries have officially begun. The first US customer delivery stemmed from Polestar’s newest retail Space in Miami, FL.

According to the automaker, Florida is currently its second largest sales market behind California. Polestar’s Head of North America, Rick Bryant, spoke about the delivery milestone:

From our retail partners to our employees and our loyal customers, I’m extremely proud and excited for the delivery of Polestar 4 making their way to customer. Polestar 4 plays a pivotal role in our brand’s lineup alongside the built-in-the-US Polestar 3, this now gives Polestar two unique SUV offerings now available to North American customers for immediate delivery.

When configuring a new Polestar 4 on the company website, it is listed at a starting MSRP of $46,400 for the single motor, RWD version, and $52,900 for the Long Range Dual Motor AWD variant. These prices are quite a bit lower than the previously advertised price of $56,400, but are both listed as limited time offers, so now is an excellent time to buy.
