Tesla is going to invite some owners and reservation holders to drive and drift Model 3 on the frozen sea in Finland in order to showcase the electric vehicle’s winter driving performance.
Over the last week, Tesla has been sending invites to owners around the world to participates in what appears to be a contest to get a chance to win what the automaker has been calling “Tesla Winter Experience 2019.”
The automaker will invite some owners to experience the Model 3 Performance on track mode on a special winter track in Finland.
They write in the invite:

Participants have to write a very short note about “why they want to join Tesla in Finland” and the automaker will apparently choose the winners.

Tesla has been hyping Model 3’s performance in winter conditions since winter arrived last month.
The all-wheel-drive versions of the vehicle are proving to have solid driving performance in the snow, but as we previously reported, the vehicle still has some issues in cold weather.
However, Tesla started addressing some of those issues and CEO Elon Musk says that they are going to improve the winter experience with upcoming software updates.
