Model 3 driving around gigafactory

Motor Trend is still teasing its exclusive photoshoot with a Model 3 prototypes at the Gigafactory and released another behind the scene live video of the shoot. Who can blame them since it’s obviously working.

We all want to see more of the car and driving around the Gigafactory is not a bad way to feature it.

Just like last week’s video, the publication wasn’t allowed to shoot the interior of the vehicle, which is expected to change significantly in the production version. Tesla’s own promotional pictures never featured the interior.

Now Motor Trend wasn’t allowed to drive the prototype. A Tesla employee was driving the vehicle, while the Motor Trend team was in a van to take the pictures. During the unveil event last month, Tesla employees were giving the test rides and attendees were not able to drive the prototypes made available for the event.

Here’s Motor Trend’s video:

It’s also interesting to have a look behind the scene of a Motor Trend car photoshoot.

The bulk of the pictures are not yet available online, but the publications released a few here.
