        Haha – that’s a good way to classify it. From what I can tell, it looks like it’s $4k-5k for the full car, including door jambs. The precision and amount of care they put into it is really amazing.

        Seems like a good excuse for a quick trip to Seattle!

    Looks ugly. For what reason should someone should treat a car that way?

      Perhaps it’s preference, though some people prefer matte finishes to glossy. BMW has a relatively new Frozen series of paint that looks killer. The biggest downsides are 1) cost and 2) durability. Whereas you can buff out scratches on a glossy car, you can’t do anything like that on matte because it will just create shiny spots. That said, if you have a garage and live in a nice climate, it’s a beautiful look and you shouldn’t have much trouble with upkeep.
