Truckloads of Tesla Model 3 vehicles spotted driving out of factory

We are receiving increasingly more evidence that Tesla has achieved higher volumes of Model 3 production as vehicles are seen driving out of the factory in volume and leaving the plant by the truckload.

Last week, a new Tesla factory drone flyover showed a growing Model 3 inventory in Fremont.

It was believed that the vehicles were awaiting transport to their delivery location, but some Tesla naysayers suggested that the only reason they could be sitting in the parking lot is that they have defects and they are not ready for delivery.

But now we are getting several reports of the Model 3 inventory in Fremont constantly flowing with new vehicles coming out of the factory and other vehicles leaving on trucks.

Bradley White witnessed this yesterday from a neighboring parking lot. He told Electrek:

“I was watching them come and go in waves, you can see them come from the plant to this lot and get unloaded. Another truck would come in and take more off to be delivered to the destination. There are a few Model S and X’s in there but the majority is Model 3’s.”

He shared a short drone video as an example of what he saw throughout the day:

Hundreds of Model 3 vehicles were spotted during the drone flyover last week and now a week later, we are seeing a flow of vehicles coming out of the factory and going out for deliveries.

Electrek’s Take

This news adds to the mounting evidence that Tesla managed to finally increase Model 3 production over the last few weeks.

We previously reported that Tesla is definitely ramping up Model 3 deliveries with hundreds of vehicles spotted at delivery centers, then suppliers said that weekly production is increasing to 5,000 units, and they are accelerating the pace at which they send out invites to configure.

Earlier this month, we reported that ‘Tesla is primed to have a stellar quarter for deliveries‘. I based my prediction on strong Model S and Model X deliveries, but Model 3 remains the wild card.

I estimated total Model 3 deliveries during the quarter at 1,000 units, but Tesla could potentially surprise in the last few days of the year with this new evidence of Model 3 vehicles flowing out of the factory.

How many Model 3 vehicles do you think Tesla will deliver in Q4 2017? Let us know in the comment section below.
