Tesla Model 3 with unreleased white interior spotted

Ahead of the Tesla Model 3’s launch, CEO Elon Musk warned that options will be limited at first in order for the company to keep different configurations at a minimum early in the production ramp, which he expects to be hell.

As for the Interior options, they were completely limited, but now we get a glimpse at what is coming.

The Model 3’s interior is minimalist by design, but there are still a few features that can be changed.

Though the early Model 3 production is dedicated only to vehicles equipped with the premium package, which includes “premium cabin materials and open pore wood décor throughout the interior.”

It results in all of Tesla’s early Model 3 production having the same interior with black seats, wood trims, and premium center console.

Tesla says that the non-premium interior, as well as the white premium seat and trims, will be available this fall, which will both reduce the standard price of the vehicle and offer more options.

Now Yulai Fu spotted a Model 3 (VIN #75) at a Supercharger station and it features the unreleased white interior. He shared a few pictures with us (picture credits: Yulai Fu):

Tesla originally rolled out the white interior as a vegan seat option made of a new synthetic material.

Ahead of the Model 3 launch last month, Tesla made all its seat options vegan with the “faux leather” synthetic material and fabric options.

There’s no doubt that Tesla’s white interior looks stunning, but it was released less than a year ago and we still don’t have much data about the durability of the material. Though Tesla claims that it is “durable and stain resistant.”
