Watch the complete record breaking Tesla Model S hill climb run at Pikes Peak [Video]

model s pikes peak run

Blake Fuller, CEO of GO Puck, shared a video his complete record-breaking hill climb run completed at Pikes Peak last weekend. Earlier this week, we reported that Fuller set the new record for a production electric vehicle at the International Hill Climb with a 11:48 time – over a minute faster than the previous record.

Warning: you should lower your sound:

“The sound you’re hearing is a mandatory siren. Because the Tesla essentially makes little to no noise when driving, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Organizers mandate that a 120 decibel siren be on the car during the race to warn people and animals ahead.

For next time, we’re looking to engineer a more pleasant way to accomplish the same goal.”
