A Tesla owner completely changed the interior of his Model S to a BMW 6-series’ for $30,000

Some Tesla Model S owners who are used to high-end luxury cars have complained about the vehicle’ interior not being up to the standards of a $80,000+ car. Andrey, a Model S owner in Moscow, was tired of complaining and took action. He completely changed the interior of his Model S to a BMW 6-series’ for about $30,000.Andrey swapped the Model S’ seats for BMW 6-series seats with memory foam, adjustable headrests, and ventilation. He added perforated leather on the steering wheel and premium natural leather on pretty much everywhere else.

He also installed a new center console insert featuring more USB plugs and glass holders.

The rear seats have been modified by removing the center headrest for improved visibility and adding armrests for comfort. Tesla briefly offered a similar option in the Model S with its “Executive Rear Seats”, but it discontinued the option not long after introducing it.

Here are some side by side pictures of before and after the modifications:

That looks so much worse. I enjoy the clean simplicity of the Model S’ interior. This is a bloated mess.

What an idiot. Besides from not changing the logo on the steering wheel he should’ve simply bought a BMW.

Next time, be sure to put Russian in the headline. It’ll save time.

You wouldn’t have read it if you knew he was Russian?

I don’t understand why the comments are so harsh here. I think this work was very well done. Not that I would do it in my car, but still one can’t argue about the quality of this job. It’s also not nearly as overstated as you could expect.

I’d love to see the Bentley version of a Tesla – better still a Bentley EV !!!
