First production images of the Model X leak from the design studio – 240 miles range and $132k for signature version

Tesla opened the Model X’s design studio to a select few reservation holders. There are two levels of reservation for the Model X: reservation for the production version which requires a $5,000 deposit and the signature version which requires a $40,000 deposit.

According to users on Tesla’s Norwegian forum,  signature Model X reservation holders can access the design studio to configure their Model X and place their order.

Model S owner and Model X reservation holder, Satheesh Varadharajan, leaked a picture (see above) of the Model X interior on the Norwegian forum.

During the last conference call to discuss Tesla’s financial results, Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk said the company was aiming to bring the design studio online by the end of August. It seems like they managed to bring it online at the last-minute.

Few information about the car leaked so far, but one forum user shared the options available to signature Model X reservation holders:

Signature Red Multi-Coat available!
20 or 22″ turbine wheels.
Dark Ash Wood decor added.
240 mile range EPA
3.8 seconds 0-60 or 3.2 Ludicrous for $10K more
155 mph top speed
Subzero Weather Package for $1000
Tow Package $750
Total price: $143,750 with the three options noted

Update: these options have been confirmed by more screenshots of the design studio on TMC (below).
