It’s Christmas and Tesla feels generous. The flying reindeer will get a break this year as the company decided to let Santa Claus borrow a Model X equipped with jet engines.
Pictures of Santa taking delivery of his new Model X at the Fremont factory started surfacing on Instagram last night.
The hood of the vehicle was removed to install a seat to control the reindeer, though it’s not clear why you would need them with two jet engines attached to the Falcon Wing doors. Santa could always stop by Google’s Boston Dynamics to borrow the company’s trio of robotic reindeer to complement his new high-tech sleigh.
