Tesla’s new all-electric SUV, the Model X, had two firsts this weekend by making both its auto show and Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.
Outside of early deliveries in the US and ‘Meet Model X’ events, this is a rare outing for the Model X, which is still waiting for homologation in Canada.
Canadian reservation holders are not expected to start taking delivery of their vehicles before late March or April.
The next time the all-electric SUV will be in Canada should be between March 8 and March 13 at the Montreal ‘Meet Model X’ events and test drives. We will be there to try it.
During the earnings call last week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk explained in more details what caused the delays in the production ramp up of the Model X.
