Segway has launched its official Spring Sale with up to 55% discounts, giving folks even lower prices than its usual discounts so you can secure your new ride and start your spring adventures off right. One notable price cut is hitting Segway’s popular MAX G2 Electric Scooter and dropping it to $649.99 shipped, matching its Amazon pricing. You may see it bearing a $1,400 MSRP tag, but that rate is usually reduced to $1,000, with most of the discounts over the last year having kept prices above $750, with occasional drops to $700, less frequent falls to $650 (last seen during Christmas sales), and the one-time-only cut to a $530 that happened for a single day in December. Unless you’re trying to score the newer and most premium Max G3 model in this series, the Segway Max G2 electric scooter still tends to be the more popular pick amongst riders, mostly due to the lower cost that still gives you some solid smart features like Apple Find My tracking, Bluetooth unlocking/locking, and more. Its deck features a water-resistant steel construction, housing the 450W motor (1,000W peak) alongside the 551Wh battery that allows it to carry you for up to 43 miles and max out at 22 MPH speeds.

Focusing on the more advanced options that have the bonus savings, you can find the X3 series deals starting at the Segway Navimow X315 Robotic Lawn Mower for $1,949 shipped, after using the promo code SPRINGX3 at checkout, which are notably the only models not available on Amazon. This starting model goes for $2,299 outside of sales, which we’ve only ever seen discounted as low as $1,999 in the past – including during Black Friday and Christmas sales. As I mentioned, the X3 series robots are getting the absolute best deals during this sale, with them receiving up to $700 in initial discounts, while also all getting an additional $50 stuck from the tag after using the code SPRINGX3 at checkout. What’s more, any purchases of the X3 series models also give you a FREE complimentary accessory bundle (worth $383) that includes a signal enhancement antenna, a power supply adapter, a 10-meter cable, and a mounting kit.

No matter which of these models – new or legacy – that you choose, you can rest assured there are no boundary wires here, as they all utilize RTK satellite positioning alongside AI-assisted 3D mapping to stay on their paths and tackle every square inch of grass in the app-designated zones. Obstacle avoidance here is handled by the 300-degree VisionFence sensor (RGB+ToF AI-supported cameras), with it not only going around inanimate objects, but also advanced enough to protect pets and wildlife that it comes across, too. They can handle up to 50% slopes (27 degrees), and come with the full array on in-app smart controls you’d expect, including voice controls through Alexa and Google Assistant.
