Honda’s divorce from GM is a sign that it sees the Trump Administration (and Elon Musk) as an obstacle to hydrogen development. Honda is thus looking elsewhere. This is unfortunate because the rest of the world is moving forward with hydrogen, and we might soon find ourselves on the outside looking in.
