Tesla is launching Model Y in the next few hours and to make sure Electrek readers get the best coverage possible, we are going to keep updating this news hub.
Tesla Model Y Unveil Event
Model Y will be unveiled at Tesla’s Design Studio in Hawthorne tonight.
The doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 8pm pacific time. You can watch the livestream here.
Electrek’s Fred Lambert, Seth Weintraub, and Jamie Dow will all be present and reporting live.
We expect that we are going to write quite a few articles about the event and the information coming out of it.
Tesla Model Y Coverage
All the articles relating to the Model Y and the launch event tonight are going to be linked right here as they get published:
- Tesla unveils Model Y electric SUV with 300 miles range and 7-seats
- Tesla unveils design of Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai, announces ambitious capacity
- Tesla Roadster prototype makes rare outing ahead of Model Y event
You can come back to this post over the next day (I know this launch is going to be late for many people and we will likely write about it through the night).
For behind the scene coverage and more media content (photos and videos), you can follow Electrek on social media (Twitter and Instagram) and on Youtube.
Speaking of Youtube, Seth and I are going to do a quick pre-event livecast to discuss what we think is going to happen tonight and if you have questions that we can try to find the answer to tonight if we have access to Tesla execs or engineers at the event, it would be the place to ask.
We are starting at 3:30pm Pacific (6:30pm ET):
