Audi unveils e-tron GT all-electric performance car (in camo) ahead of launch

Audi unveiled the Porsche Taycan-based e-tron GT all-electric vehicle ahead of its launch tomorrow, but it’s now in “camouflage”.

The German automaker loves its EV camouflages.

It made a big deal about the e-tron camouflage earlier this year and now the e-tron GT is getting the same treatment.

Yesterday, Audi released the first images of the e-tron GT with a teaser, but now we are seeing the full car in new official images in camouflage.

Here are the new images released by Audi today:

As we previously reported, the e-tron GT is going to be Audi’s third next-gen all-electric in 2020 after the e-tron electric SUV and the Sportsback.

It’s based on the Porsche Taycan and is expected to feature very similar specs as Porsche’s new electric performance sedan.

Electrek’s Take

The German automaker is being kind of weird about the launch of the e-tron GT.

They invited us to see the car without camouflage at an event last night, but we weren’t able to take pictures.

Now, they release images of the car in camouflage just a day before the actual unveiling.

We are going to be able to share more tomorrow after the official launch. We will post pictures without any camouflage and release all the specs from Audi.
