Tesla went all out for the 2016 Paris Motor Show, also known as ‘Le Mondial de l’Automobile’. The automaker brought to the trade show not 1, not 2, but 3 different Model X SUVs, 2 Model S sedans, and a platform to showcase its powertrain architecture.
The only vehicle missing is the Model 3.
Earlier this month, we reported on Le Mondial saying that Tesla was bringing a Model 3 to the show for its European and car show debut.
Tesla denied it and sure enough, the Model 3 is not there.
But as we mentioned, they brought plenty of vehicles and it’s apparently more than enough to attract the attention of the people in Paris.

As usual, Tesla is not planing to make any announcement at the show since the company prefers to reserve those for its own events, but there are still a few car shows that Tesla visits for advertising and marketing.
In France, the timing could be good because, as we reported this morning, Tesla’s vehicles could be ineligible to the EV incentives in the country by the end of the year. The show could be a good opportunity for the company to communicate this information and lock-in a few orders before the incentives are over.
