Tesla upgraded the Model X software through an over-the-air update this week and introduced a few new small but interesting features to its all-electric SUV.
The update includes the new Summon restriction pushed to the Model S last week following an accident with the feature. It adds the need to choose a direction in which to move the vehicle when activating Summon from the parking stalk. Now the Model X with the Autopilot convenience features enabled will also have the added step.
As for new features unique to the Model X, maybe not the most useful, but certainly the most impressive new feature is the ability to control all doors at once through the fob key – and the Model X has lots of door real estate.
Tesla shared a quick demo:

The most welcomed new feature is probably the ability to adjust all the seats from the center touchscreen. Here’s another quick demo:
This is the Model X’s version 7.1 (2.20.45) update.
