The on-demand valet parking service Luxe is partnering with Tesla Motors to launch a pilot program in New York and San Francisco for an exclusive parking and charging experience for Tesla owners.
The service lets you request a valet on-demand from Luxe’s app. A valet will come pick up your Tesla and parked it at a designated charging station. You can request additional services such as a car wash and you can even leave the car overnight or select to have a driver pick you up and drive you home in your car in case you are not able to drive yourself.
The charging requires you park your car for a minimum of 5-hour and adds $15 to the cost of Luxe’s regular service, which of course depends on location and duration.
Under the pilot program, Luxe is testing a “Tesla Subscription” service, which is based on a monthly fee instead of ‘à la carte’ service, and it’s not cheap:
For New York:
And for San Francisco:
While it is currently only in testing phase, according to a tip TechCrunch received, it could lead to the integration of the app in Tesla’s user interface and trip planning software:
From what we understand, this is just stage. Later, according to our tip, the plan is for Tesla to preinstall Luxe in car dashboards, so that Tesla owners will have parking and other services offered by Luxe (such as car washes) as automatic options to choose as part of the bigger journey.
You can visit Luxe’s website to get started with the pilot program. If you decide to try it out, feel free to share your experience with us.

For that kind of cash, I could have a 2nd car.
well it all depends. Does $899/month would mean that they basically keep your car park whenever you don’t need it at that price? parking in New York is extremely expensive, some places can be $600-800/month so this would not be a terrible deal if you have the money.
