If you’ve ever wished your daily commute felt less like a chore and more like, well, an experience, AOTOS thinks it has the answer. The smart mobility company is launching its new Flux X26 e-bike on Kickstarter this month, and it’s not your typical e-bike. This one leans hard into futuristic design, smart tech, and even a one-click wheelie feature.
Let’s take a closer look.
A rugged unique design

Most e-bikes still play it safe with retro styling. The Flux X26 goes in the opposite direction.
AOTOS says it’s “completely abandoned roundness,” instead using sharp, integrated aluminum alloy surfaces and parametric lines across the frame, app, and even packaging. The result is a mecha-inspired look that feels closer to a Cybertruck than a cruiser bike.
At the center is what AOTOS calls a “Keel Frame,” which blends industrial engineering with a futuristic aesthetic. It’s paired with motorcycle-grade inverted front fork suspension and dual-spring rear shocks, so it’s built to handle both city streets and rougher suburban or off-road terrain.
Translation: It looks wild, but it’s also built to ride hard.
Power, performance, and some serious torque

Under the hood (or frame), the Flux X26 packs real performance.
You get a 48V system with a 750W-rated motor (Class-2 compliant), but peak power can reach 2000W. That translates into strong acceleration and climbing ability – AOTOS says it can handle slopes up to 25% without breaking a sweat.
Torque is another highlight, with up to 110Nm of instantaneous burst force. That’s enough to push the bike from 0 to 20 mph in just 4.9 seconds.
The range is solid, too. Depending on the version, you’ll get up to a 70-mile riding radius under manufacturer test conditions, making it viable for both daily commuting and longer weekend rides.
Yes, it has a one-click wheelie mode
This is where things get interesting.
The Flux X26 includes a “BOST” mode – an intelligent assist mode that lets the bike lift into a controlled head-up stance. In plain terms, it helps you do a wheelie with a single click while reducing the effort by around 20%.
Is it practical? Not really.
Is it fun? Absolutely.
And that’s kind of the point. AOTOS is positioning the Flux X26 as more than just transportation – it’s meant to be an “emotional companion” that makes riding feel expressive, not just efficient.
Smart features that feel like a rolling gadget

The Flux X26 isn’t just about power; it’s also packed with tech.
A 5.5-inch TFT color display shows real-time ride data, while a companion app enables GPS positioning, ride tracking, and system controls.
Security is a big focus, too. You get triple anti-theft protection with GPS tracking, wireless connectivity, and FindMy integration, plus contactless unlocking.
Other smart touches include:
- Tire pressure monitoring
- OTA (over-the-air) updates to keep improving performance
- Dynamic ambient lighting that changes color based on ride modes
It’s basically a smart device you can ride.
Two versions, depending on how hard you want to go
AOTOS is offering the Flux X26 in two configurations:
Flux X26 (Standard)
- 48V 750W motor
- Up to 50-mile range
- Velocity sensing system
Flux X26 Pro (High-Performance)
- 48V 1500W motor
- Up to 70-mile range
- 4G + GPRS connectivity for enhanced smart features
Both versions share the same core design and smart platform, so it really comes down to how much performance you want.
Built for city riders and weekend adventurers

AOTOS is aiming the Flux X26 squarely at riders who want their commute to feel like a statement, and their weekends to be about play.
First, there are the tech-forward urban commuters – the kind of people working at startups or big tech companies who want something that reflects their identity as much as it gets them from point A to point B. The Flux X26’s bold, futuristic design and connected features make it feel like a “smart terminal you can ride.”
Then there are weekend explorers – people loading up their Rivian or F-150 and heading to places like Joshua Tree or Lake Tahoe to blow off some steam. The Flux X26’s high power, long range, and rugged suspension mean it can handle trails, while its eye-catching design makes it stand out at any campsite.
A lower-carbon ride
Like most e-bikes, the Flux X26 runs with zero emissions during use. But AOTOS is also focusing on manufacturing.
Its modular battery design improves factory efficiency and reduces production emissions by 20%, according to the company.
