You know those electric unicycles that zip past you in the bike lane like a sci-fi fever dream? Well, InMotion just unveiled one that can do more than fly past you; it might actually outrun a motorcycle. The new InMotion P6 is a full-blown adrenaline machine on one wheel.
With a real-world riding top speed of 150 km/h (that’s 93 mph!), the P6 is entering territory that no single-wheeled vehicle has dared to touch before. It’s powered by a staggering 235V high-voltage system and delivers 20 kW of peak power – that’s 26.8 horsepower for those keeping track at home.
According to InMotion, it can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h (31 mph) in just 1.9 seconds. And with 20 kW of power in something that you hold between your ankles, performance simply isn’t going to be an issue on this wheel.
All that power is impressive, but there’s another figure that’s important here, too. When it comes to range, InMotion delivers. The P6 is packing a massive 4,200Wh Samsung 50S battery, offering up to 150 km (93 miles) of range. It supports 14A fast charging and can be topped up in around 90 minutes.

But it’s more than just speed and power here – InMotion is throwing some serious tech at this thing. The P6 features hydraulic suspension with 90 mm of travel and individually adjustable high and low-speed damping. That means it can cruise city streets or bomb down mountain trails, depending on your level of fearlessness.
The P6 might also be one of the most overbuilt EUCs ever. It uses a “Tesla-grade” SiC controller, an active copper heat pipe cooling system, and a triple-layer battery protection architecture for system-wide redundancy. You even get built-in tire pressure monitoring.
The smart features are just as over-the-top: InMotion’s RideConnect IoT system brings real-time GPS tracking, anti-theft tools, remote controls, and ride logs. There’s even custom firmware letting you tune your acceleration, braking, and cornering feel to match your own riding style.
All of this comes in at $4,999, which honestly I don’t know if that’s fair or not since there just aren’t a lot of teleportation-fast hyper wheels out there to compare it to. It might be one of the most extreme personal electric vehicles ever built, and certainly in the one-wheeled category.
If you’re crazy enough to take the plunge, launch month buyers get over $1,000 in extras, including a fast charger, seat, extended warranty, and a year of RideConnect service. They’re also opening a dedicated US service center to back up this beast with some after-sales support.
Electrek’s Take

Oh there definitely needs to be a team of bad guys riding these in the next James Bond/Mission Impossible movie. A chase through a hilly European city with narrow, twisty roads then out to fields and forest. Very cool.
This is hands-down the most absurdly powerful electric unicycle I’ve ever seen. This is a one-wheeled rocket ship. I enjoy riding electric unicycles when I get the chance, but I normally stick to the 20 mph leisurely cruises and nothing even close to this level of performance. I get that there’s a dedicated EUC community out there that praises the compactness, portability, and freedom of EUCs, but this just seems a bit over the top.
It’s clearly not for beginners, and I doubt we’ll see many commuters using it to pick up groceries. But for hardcore EUC riders and extreme performance junkies? This is your new white whale.
Just remember to wear a good full-face helmet. It still probably won’t keep you on this side of the dirt if you go down at 93 mph, but it gives your family the chance for an open casket, for those into that sort of thing.
Just for fun, I’ll leave you with my last EUC review below, which was a significantly tamer InMotion wheel.
