Zero Labs Automotive has debuted its Electric Classic Ford Bronco, a restored and reengineered truck based on the 1966-77 Ford Bronco. The all-electric vehicle features carbon fiber body panels and more than 1,000 original parts.
The Electric Classic Ford Bronco comes with a 70 kWh battery for 190 miles of estimated range, with Level 2 charging. Its motor puts out 369 horsepower with 240 Nm of torque — interestingly, the Bronco uses a five-speed manual transmission.
The Bronco’s interior comes with handmade walnut or bamboo panels, and premium leather or vegan interior coverings. Zero Labs reveals more technical specifications about the vehicle on its website, while noting the final specifications and a “full list of available options will be available prior to manufacturing.”
Zero Labs’ release said the Bronco is its “first” production vehicle, so there may be more to come. The company is taking registrations for an initial run of 150 Broncos — the standard reservation form requires no money down, and no obligation.
If you’re wondering about the price, the company says that “final pricing, specifications, options and delivery times will be announced prior to manufacture start date. All vehicles will be delivered in the order they are placed.”
