Tesla has released some rare new footage from inside the Fremont factory showing a Model 3 being assembled from start to finish.
The general assembly is one of the most complicated parts of vehicle production with a lot of moving parts.
Tesla says that Model 3 is made of over 10,000 parts and many of them come together at general assembly.
The automaker built a main assembly line for the Model 3 in Fremont and famously built a second in a controversial tent just outside the factory in order to achieve their long-promised goal to produce 5,000 Model 3 vehicles per week.
Now Tesla has released some cool footage from inside a Model 3 going through the main assembly line in Fremont:
Tesla releases the footage as it attempts to deliver a record number of Model 3 this quarter – especially in the US in order for buyers to take advantage of the federal tax credit before it starts to phase out in 2019.
The company says that they still have vehicles available for delivery in several markets in the US.
Tesla has released all its display and test drive vehicles and it still has some inventory vehicles available in some markets, including the new Mid-range Model 3.
