While EV enthusiasts haven’t had a lot of luck with electric car startups lately, we are pretty excited about Bollinger Motors going into the off/on-road utility truck market with a Jeep-like all-electric truck.
Now the startup has released footage of its working prototype off-roading and track testing.
New York-based Bollinger Motors unveiled the B1 earlier this year.
The company says that the off/on-road utility electric vehicle will be offered with two battery pack options available, 60 kWh and 100 kWh, for 120 miles and 200 miles in range.
Last we heard, the company was in negotiations with potential manufacturing partners and lthey aim to get to production within the next 2 years.
Earlier this month, Bollinger Motors claimed it received 10,000 reservations for its all-electric truck – though their reservations don’t require a deposit nor any type of commitment beyond sharing your information with the startup.
Those reservation holders now have some footage of the working prototype to get excited about.
Bollinger released several new videos of the truck off-roading and track testing:

Here’s another video off-roading though they sped up the video for some reason, which makes it almost unwatchable – though you can change the speed with the setting button at the bottom right of the video. I recommend 0.25:

Electrek’s Take
Again, we are pretty excited by this project at Electrek and we appreciate the glimpses at their development program, but if I could make a small suggestion: they should lose the black and white gimmick and the video effects like with the speed and the glares. We just want to see the truck and how it performs. That’s it.
