Just earlier today, we reported on a Tesla Model S P100D setting a new real-world quarter-mile record: 10.723 seconds. It has already been broken and by a significant margin.
Chris Bergemann from Oregon set the new 10.638-second record around the same time that DragTimes was running 10.723-scond runs on the other side of the country, but the 10.7-second only held for less than a day.
The vehicle in question wasn’t modified and ran some consistent times:
“A completely stock one month old 2017 Tesla Model S P100D with no changes to anything, original interior, original wheels, original tires just ran a 10.638 second pass, backed up with a 10.656 pass and a 10.669 pass.”
