Like most luxury automakers, Tesla offers accessories made from automotive-grade leather, sometimes even leftovers from making the interior of its vehicles, which is an interesting way for the manufacturer to promote its brand while reducing upholstery losses.
The company rarely updates its collection since launching it in 2014 with travel bags, gloves and purses, but a few months back, the automaker added iPhone cases/wallets, and now we are told that Tesla added leather jackets to its ‘Design Collection’.
Tesla’s new jacket is named “Modena” after a Tesla Supercharger location in Italy.
The automaker/fashion designer describes the jacket on its website:
The Modena Leather Jacket is made of premium, full-grain sheep leather with quilted Cupro lining. The jacket is designed with clean lines and a slim fashion fit. Details such as a subtle debossed tone-on-tone Tesla logo as well as Tesla’s signature red contrast stitching and inside pocket welts complete the premium look and feel.
To make this both a stylish and functional piece, we have incorporated a sport stand-up collar, light padding on elbows, pockets with D-ring for attaching keys, headphone cord management, and pockets large enough to fit oversized smart phones.
The $400 jackets are currently only offered in black and in sizes Small to XX-Large for men, and X-Small to X-Large for women.

Too bad I got a $399 Gant jacket a month ago, I would’ve purchased this instead.
All they need now is the Tesla Motorcycle.
I’m a sheep and I dislike this.
