It isn’t often that you get a look at the inside of Tesla’s Fremont factory, especially outside the roped off tourist factory tour area. However, San Francisco’s CBS affiliate took some Super Bowl weekend time to put together a short video, below:
Tesla’s Fremont factory is at the center of analyst’s expectations ahead of its earnings forecast set to be release this week and the big question on everyone’s minds is if the electric automaker has gotten its sought-after Model X platform to scale up yet.
Last quarter’s Model X numbers were disappointing where Tesla noted that almost half of the quarter’s Model X’s were manufactured in the last week of the year. But that bodes well for this quarter if it can even match its Christmas week rate.
Anecdotally, we’ve seen many more Model X deliveries in our tips box (tips@electrek.co) as well as on social media. Even this 17 year old got one. At my local Tesla Dealer, the back delivery lot is full of Model X deliveries for owners and the salespeople are saying they get close to a truckload every week.
We have an earnings preview today and more coverage coming on Wednesday.

The hyped up “Never seen” phrases really make me question how this news company is still alive.
