Clear photo of Tesla Model X test vehicle emerges

A photo taken yesterday appears to show our clearest glimpse yet of one of Tesla’s Model X test mules. The black Model X, sans window trim, wheel well trim and front emblem, seems fairly undisguised with the exception of some headlight covers and extra glass on the back window.

One thing that seems quite clear in the photo is that the nosecone of the Model X will be integrated into the bumper cover, unlike on the Model S, where it is a separate part. The production version will likely have chrome trim around it, as we’ve seen in both the Model X prototype and the Model S.

Yeah, and the backdoor doesn’t fit well – there ist a slight offset.
This nosecone thing is weird – I think they should get rid of it completely. Same with Model S.

Finally Tesla has engineered the Falcon Door to work and fit perfectly.
The Tesla Model X Nose Cone thingy looks great.
    The Tesla Roadster / Model S / Model X / GigaFactory 1 / are all awesome.
    Stay tuned.
