b) It really doesn’t matter whether anyone welcomes Apple anywhere. It’s not like anyone’s ever needed an invitation before.
I still think Apple should make core automotive and lifestyle technologies for use in cars, and sell them to as many car-makers as they can — an evolution of CarPlay if you like, but possibly involving the drivetrain in a similar way to watch Bosch currently does.
But if they want to make an Apple-branded car, I challenge anyone to *not* welcome them.
To *what* Bosch does, obviously. *sigh*
